CLEANING COACH HISTORY
If you're wondering where the inspiration for the cleaning system began, I'll take you back to thirty+ years ago. As a child, I grew up in living conditions much like the A&E TV show Hoarders on Netflix. To elaborate, vacuuming the floors was not even on the radar ... since you could even see them.
Out of necessity, I learned how to
declutter, organize, and clean early on in life. I became passionate about managing home chores. From a young age and well into adulthood, I read magazines, books, and scoured the internet
for cleaning tips and motivation.
I became an expert at organizing and decluttering became a favorite hobby of mine. Yet, I still procrastinated when it came to cleaning. I wanted my home to be immaculate, like in Martha Stewart Living. But I found myself consistently putting off cleaning until I had time to do it perfectly, which unfortunately did not happen often.
The delays only got worse when I was working multiple jobs,
with a full-time college schedule, and raising a child simultaneously. I needed an easy cleaning schedule that was thorough, but still quick and flexible. So I combined my two passions: planning & home management. From there, the Cleaning Coach Company was formed and the ABC Cleaning Routine and the Cleaning Calendar planner became a reality.
